Nothing Worth Having Comes Easy!
Nothing lasts forever. Happy times come and go, but the memories stay forever. Time does not remain the same. But we never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory. We have memories of bad times also. But bad times become good lessons in life.
Joining Amal Academy was a turning point of my life. When I was filling the application for this fellowship program, I didn’t expect from myself that I would come that far. But I remember the moment when I got the selection email. That was one of the happiest moments of my life. In the beginning ,we made a purpose map for whatever we ever wanted to achieve. It helped us to rethink our purposes. We did a group activity in which we described our personal and professional goals and the most important thing is we found the “Whys” behind our every goal. It gave us a direction to refine ourselves.
From the very first week, our teachers tell us about the importance of hard work. Life is full of twists and turns. Hard work is a key to success. Nothing is easy to achieve in life without hard work. Life is hard. Life is a battle. Hard work can make impossibilities possible. Greatness can be achieved by great labor only.
In the second week, I did an amazing thing. I made a fun video of myself and explained the idea behind a good MVTP. This was my favorite part. As I had to break my comfort zone. This incident made me realize the importance of positivity, courage, strength, confidence, and power. Teachers made learning groups for ourselves in 2nd week so that we can interact with others more effectively, share our thinking with others, and help each other.
I discovered about myself that I have stamina to do something. I realized about my true self. I learnt how to accept feedback with others and use those feedbacks to improve myself instead of taking them personally. I realized what I really wanted to do in my life. From this fellowship, I realized how to awake the spark within me. I truly regret that I didn’t use a positive approach and see the good in this world before this fellowship. But I promise I will always keep those things and lessons in my mind and I will never give up on myself. Because consistency is the key to success.
